Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)
The school is working towards becoming a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) site. Teachers are implementing Tier 1 strategies in their classrooms, focusing on building positive relationships with students.
The school also employs restorative practices, adapted to help students repair relationships with teachers and SSOs.
PBL classroom practices:

- Teach both academic and social behaviours
- Are applicable to all students, regardless of age, developmental stage, functional needs, or disability
- Utilise Tier 1 (universal) strategies
- Can be shared with families and carers to ensure consistency at home
- Restorative practices are used to support students in reengaging with their learning
Each student is a unique individual. Educators make necessary adjustments to students’ educational programs and learning environments, tailored to meet each student’s needs, and acknowledging neurological differences.
