Pathways to Success

Inspiring excellence through innovation and inclusion.

Salisbury High School is dedicated to ensuring a safe, caring, supportive, and healthy environment for all employees, students, volunteers, and visitors. As a mainstream high school, it serves students from Year 7 to Year 12.

Encouraging independence in travel is a crucial step towards fostering greater interdependence for our students. By the end of their second year, students will receive transport training (where applicable).

For students in the Junior Special Classes, transport training and independence are expected to be achieved by the end of Year 9, in preparation for the Middle Special Class.

Students will undergo training under the guidance of a Student Support Officer (SSO), and they must meet all required competencies before transitioning off taxis.

A checklist is completed before, during, and after the training to ensure all criteria are met.

Information about bus and train routes to Salisbury High School can be found at Adelaide Metro.
