Students at Salisbury High SWD are provided with opportunities to develop workplace capacity through workplace simulations.

This includes:

• a sustainability program where students apply workplace skills to organic recycling, container deposit recycling, and paper and cardboard recycling,
• garden development and maintenance program,
• other opportunities as they become available,
• potential to access the Department for Education Disability Transition to Work Program

Students use inclusive approaches to document their progression, reflect and discuss their skills development, identify achievements, strengths, areas for improvement and preferences for future workplace opportunities.
